Production

3 Bullets production appropriately took 3 days of shooting to complete. 3 locations: Northeast Minneapolis, Fridley and Edina. And 3 hours of overtime for our cast and crew.

Fundraising

Thanks to the marvelous interwebs, filmmakers have a new tool for raising money: Crowdsourcing. Sites like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, allow smaller projects to raise money in a more universally appealling manner. So, we at 3 Bullets have an IndieGoGo Campaign .  Feel free to contribute. Or we will have to go back to this: Pitching Mother

Return to his Roots

John MJS McGuinness returns to scriptwriting with 3 Bullets, his first serious work in over 6 years. Though he has kept his feet wet with back to back Audience Award Favorite short films in the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Festival in 2008 and 2009. 3 Bullets explores the psychology of what drives people to make a stand versus standing on the sideline. Can a passive participant in his life really become a man of action? If our lives are predicated on our personal mythologies, are those myths easily rewritten?

The Leap to Film

Founding member of Walking Shadow Theatre, writer/director John Heimbuch makes his move to film with 3 Bullets.
